Charts and graphs ENG 101

The chart shows the occurrence of Anti-Islamic hate crime incidents, between 1995-2008. The graph shows a large spike in hate crimes in 2001 and remaining quite high afterwards.  The graph communicates a trigger event in 2001 and then a dip in hate crimes but still significantly higher then before 2001. Anti-Islamic hate crimes grew after the September,11,2001 when there where terrorist attacks on the united states. The graph shows how a few/group of peoples actions can affect the way there entire race, culture, and religion are perceived. The graph tells a deep story of how people can hate with out reason, how some will blame everyone for something they had no control over.  The chart however is missing a couple of key things. The chart does not state where these crimes are or weather the number of victims where in the hundreds, thousands or even millions. It also does not state a source for its information. Overall the chart shows how ignorance and misinformation can lead people to persecute one another; even go to extremes and harm one another.
